Channel partners

You sell Owlstead. We build it.

TK Tech Venture is the OEM. You are the channel partner, on the agreements you hold, in the industry you serve.

A classroom running from one Dell box on the desk. The lesson is on the wall, and students work on laptops.
Courses run on a loaned box in the customer's building.

What you get

Why a partner signs.

You keep the customer and the invoice. We keep the product. The written agreement sets the price.

Margin on the sale

You invoice the customer. Your margin is part of the price in the written agreement. You are not passing through a seat fee or a token bill.

Recurring course revenue

Courses are priced per course. When the customer adds a course, that is another sale. The box is loaned, so this is not a one-time hardware purchase.

An offer your competitors lack

Training stays on a box in the customer's building, with no per-learner fee and no token bill. A cloud LMS on the same shelf cannot say that.

The sale

From us, through you, to the customer.

  1. OEM

    TK Tech Venture

We loan the box, set up the first courses, and support it.

  2. Channel partner

    You

You sell on your commercial agreement and send the invoice.

  3. Buyer

    The customer

They buy courses from you. The box stays on site, and it stays ours.

Roles

You keep the customer and the commercial agreement you sell on. We keep the product. Your customer buys from you.

Commercial

Sell where you already sell.

This is a channel partnership. A dealer agreement, a distributor agreement, an enterprise purchasing agreement, or another commercial agreement your industry buys through. The written agreement names that industry and those agreements.

The path to your customer is the commercial agreement you hold. A buyer who is not on that agreement stays with the OEM.

How an order works

Four steps. You remain the seller.

  1. You name the buyer

A customer in the industry you sell in.

  2. You sell on your agreement

The order sits on a commercial agreement you hold.

  3. We supply the product

The loaned box, setup of the first courses, and SLA support.

  4. You stay the seller

Your customer buys from you. We remain the OEM.

The written agreement

The written agreement is what gets signed.

The channel agreement names the items below. Price, term, and whether your industry is exclusive are written there. They are not set on this page. Both sides review it before anyone signs.

  • Partner legal name
  • The industry
  • The commercial agreements, by name
  • You sell to the customer
  • We supply the loaned box, first-course setup, and SLA
  • Price and term

Questions

Before you send an inquiry

Who is the OEM?

TK Tech Venture. Owlstead is the product. We loan the box, set up the first courses, and support it under an SLA.

Who is the seller?

You are. Your customer buys from you, through a commercial agreement you hold, in the industry you serve.

What do we need in place?

A commercial agreement you sell through, and an industry you cover. This page is for partners who have that path to a buyer.

Can we sell outside that industry?

The written agreement names the industry and the commercial agreements. Another partner can hold the same kind of agreement in a different industry.

Does our industry belong to us alone?

Only if the written agreement says so. This page does not grant an exclusive.

Where do direct buyers go?

A buyer who comes to Owlstead and is not purchasing through your agreement stays with TK Tech Venture.

Is there a seat fee or a token bill?

No. The box is loaned and stays ours, and courses are priced per course. The price you sell at is in the written agreement, not on this page.

Is this page the contract?

No. Both sides review the written channel agreement before anyone signs.
