The narrative

From inside the wire to outside the contract.

Timothy Carrender's career is built on a dual track of tactical mastery and technical engineering. Retired May 1, 2026 as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) after 20 years within the U.S. Army Signal Corps and G6 directorates, he has spent two decades architecting mission-critical communication networks in the world's most demanding environments.

Parallel to his military service, Timothy has been a working developer since the 1990s, maintaining a direct connection to the code. This unique perspective — the "builder-operator" mindset — is proven through shipped products like Ask Chief and ComStat. He holds a BS in Computer Science / Business Management from Liberty University, is completing an MS in Information Technology (Software Design & Management), and maintains the highest tier of professional credentials.
